Quercia Verde, an old Italian contadini house, was bought by our family in 1997. Then
began the restoration of the house, the abandoned olive groves and terraces. Many
of the old trees needed radical pruning, new trees planted to replace the dead trees
and walls knocked down by the wild boar rebuilt.
Gradually over the years the trees have recovered and terraces restored. We now
produce over 250 litres of the finest unfiltered single estate oil. The olives are
picked by hand and immediately cold pressed locally using the traditional methods.
